Tomamu, situated 150km east of Sapporo close to the Hidaka National Park, is arguably the most lavish of the Hokkaido resorts, and marketed towards the affluent skier. The resort has spared no expense and the facilities on- and off-mountain are first class. The ski area offers a good variety of terrain; the recently opened up expert courses and off-piste skiing are certainly a bonus for the advanced skier and snowboarder. Alpine alternatives include snowmobiling, backcountry tours, cross country skiing, para-skiing, dog-sledding, hot air ballooning and visiting the ice dome village.

ITINERARY

Day 1 London - Tokyo	19:00 Depart from London Heathrow on non-stop overnight flight to Tokyo, then onwards to Sapporo Chitose.	flight
Day 2 Tokyo-Sapporo	20:25 Arrive at Sapporo Chitose Airport. Stay overnight at airport hotel.	Com Hotel, Sapporo Chitose airport
Day 3 Sapporo - Tomamu	Transfer to hotel in Tomamu by public airport bus.	Alpha Resort Tomamu
Day 4-7 Tomamu	Enjoy skiing at Tomamu. A lift pass is included.	Alpha Resort Tomamu
Day 8 Tomamu - Sapporo - Tokyo	Transfer to Sapporo Chitose Airport by public airport bus. Depart Chitose for flight to Tokyo Haneda airport. On arrival, make your own way to the hotel in Tokyo.	Shinagawa Prince Hotel (Main Tower), Tokyo
