| Day 1 Tokyo - Yamagata - Sendai |
Depart Tokyo by bullet train to Yamagata. On arrival, spend some time with a traditional Maiko girl. Japanese-style lunch, followed by fruit-picking at a local farm. In the evening, travel to Sendai for overnight stay. | Sendai Kokusai Hotel or similar |
| Day 2 Sendai - Bandai Atami Onsen |
Visit Matsushima, including Shiogama Shrine and Shiogawama fish market. Ride on the Matsushima pleasure boat (50mins) then continue on walking tour visiting the approach to Juiganji Temple and Godaido Temple. After 2 hours free time, transfer by coach to Bandai Atami Onsen, for dinner and overnight stay. | Hotel Hana no Yu (Japanese style room) or similar |
| Day 3 Bandai Atami Onsen - Tokyo |
Visit Goshikinuma, Ouchi-jukuizu and Sake Brewery Museum. Free time in Aiziwakamatsu city, then proceed to Nisshin-kan (Handicraft painting). In the evening, return to Tokyo by Bullet train. |

(UK citizens do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days in Japan) - Porterage/handling of baggage is not included. As you will carry your own bag, and storage area for bags on trains is very limited, you are recommended to "travel light", and leave large items of baggage at your hotel in Tokyo while on this tour.
