ITINERARY

Day 1 London - Frankfurt - Tokyo	09:05 Depart from London Heathrow on Lufthansa via Frankfurt.	dinner on board
Day 2 Tokyo	07:30 Arrive Tokyo Narita Airport and transfer to the hotel by public airport bus to the Shinjuku area of Tokyo.	Star Hotel or Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo*
Day 3 Tokyo - Mt.Fuji	07:10 Depart with English-speaking guide by coach to Mount Fuji. 11:30 Arrive at Kawaguchiko, at the " 5th station", halfway up the mountain. Lunch on your own, prepare to climb. 13:00 Depart 5th station for ascent. 17:00 Arrive Toyokan Lodge, at the 8th station of the ascent. Dinner, and rest time (bed provided) 23:00 Depart Toyokan Lodge, with box breakfast, for walk to the summit.	Toyokan Inn (rest)
Day 4 Mt.Fuji - Tokyo	04:00-05:30 Reach summit. Enjoy the sunrise, and breakfast break. 05:30 Start descent. 09:00-11:00 Arrive Kawaguchiko (5th station). Lunch on your own and rest. 11:30 Leave by coach for Beni Fuji no Yu hot spa. 13:00-15:00 Enjoy bathing at the hot spa, then travel back to Tokyo. 16:30 Arrive at hotel in Tokyo. Day 6 Tokyo - Frankfurt - London	Transfer to Tokyo Narita airport by public bus for departure to London by Lufthansa via Frankfurt, arriving same day. 09:35 Depart Tokyo Narita 17:50 Arrive London Heathrow	on board

* Pick-up point for the 2-day excursion to Mt.Fuji is the Keio Plaza Hotel.
The Star Hotel is a good 3-star hotel in the Shinkjuku area of Tokyo, within walking distance of the Keio Plaza.
The Keio Plaza hotel is a large 4-star property of international standard, in the centre of the Shinjuku area.

OPERATED:

As the summit of Mt.Fuji is at 3,776 metres, altitude sickness may occur. The rest at the 8th station of the mountain is designed to acclimatise walkers to the altitude, and avoid this. For a realistic and detailed description of the climb and helpful tips, please see: fujisan/yamakei.co.jp

Children under the age of 6 cannot take part in this tour. Tour participants aged 6 - 15 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 20 years of age or older. Tour participants aged 16 - 19 years of age can join the tour alone, on the condition that they can provide written permission from a parent or guardian.
