With a semi-tropical climate, clear waters and coral reefs, the islands of Okinawa in the south-west of Japan have a different atmosphere from the rest of Japan - more relaxed, and with great opportunities for diving. The many small island groups offer a variety of facilities and dives, for the experienced diver or the beginner. Our extension package stays at Kume Island, and include novice "fun dives" for beginners by the Sport club of the EEF Hotel on the island's best beach.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Tokyo - Naha - Kume	09:00 Depart Tokyo Haneda Airport on JL905. 11:30 Arrive Okinawa Naha Airport 12:05 Depart on Japan Trans-Ocean Airlines NU211 12:40 Arrive Kume Island Make your own way to the hotel by local bus (airport bus stop to Eef Beach Hotel bus stop. Day 2 Kume	Full day diving (2 dives) by EEF Sport club.	Breakfast at hotel. Eef Beach Hotel

Day 4 Kume - Naha - Tokyo	Make your own way to Kume-jima Airport. 13:15 Depart Kume on NU212 13:50 Arrive Okinawa Naha Airport. 14:20 Depart Okinawa Naha Airport on JL912. 16:45 Arrive Tokyo Haneda Airport.	Breakfast at hotel

All necessary equipment is provided: wetsuit, hood, fins, BCD(buoyancy control vest), regulators.

3 nights accommodation at Eef Beach Hotel Kume, including daily breakfast
2 x full day diving sessions (2 dives each day) by Eef Sport club, with English-speaking instructor (basic English only)

Travel Insurance
Any meals and beverages apart from breakfast at hotel
Incidental costs such as personal laundry, drinks, snacks
Passport and other visa document fees
(UK citizens do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days in Japan)

Although the dives are designed for those without any diving experience, a basic level of health and fitness is required. Clients are given a short medical checkup. Participants aged over 45 with any known medical condition should provide details of this in advance. Child minimum age: 10 years.
