LAST DATE TO BOOK: 17th NOVEMBER

Tour ref: ES05

The Tokyo Marathon is possibly the best-organised marathon in the world. Although few non-Japanese have participated in it up until now, foreign runners are particularly welcome and everything about the organisation is made easy for them. Numerous staff are on hand to help and guide runners through the pre-race registration process at the modernistic "Tokyo Big Sight" exhibition area. And during the race itself, everything along the route is clean and well-organised. Because the start and finish places are far apart, a fleet of trucks is on hand to transfer runners' belongings to the finish.

The race on 28th February 2010 starts in the Shinjuku area, outside the buildings of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and ends at the "Tokyo Big Sight" exhibition centre on the other side of the city. Accommodation will be in the Shinjuku area, convenient for the start of the race.
